Cockatiel
Here’s my entry for this week’s Camera Critters. This bird is called Cockatiel. I found this bird at the same place where I found the Umbrella Cockatoo. Thanks for looking and your lovely comments. Have a great weekend everyone!

The Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus), also known as the Quarrion and the Weiro, is the smallest and genuinely miniature cockatoo endemic to Australia. They are prized as a household pet and companion parrot throughout the world and are relatively easy to breed. As a caged bird Cockatiels are second only in popularity to the Budgerigar.[2] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockatiel

I love that last shot the best.

Oooh, cute. They look so cuddly!
Sadly, many people have no idea what they get themselves into when they buy a cockatiel or cockatoo. If anyone is planning to get them, I can only recommend this website
